AT THE RANCH: 


$175.00 for one horse/2 hours.  $50.00 extra for every additional horse added.  

2 Hours is standard time.    $50.00 extra per every added 1/2 hour. 

Having a party/event at our place is so easy for you.  Similar to going to the skating rink or bowling alley, you only have to handle the gifts/cake/food aspect of your party...we do the rest.  We have a giant arena and bleachers and music playing for you over our loudspeakers.  Lots of parking and easy access to water/electricity/porta potties (we guarantee  them to be clean as a whistle).  Bring a fishing pole because we have a Bayou Segnette run-off canal alongside the arena that is full of catfish and bass (you have to have a current fishing license.)  


Our horses are gentle as lambs and are well seasoned for all the chaos.  Having a horse means the limit of riders is expanded.  Ponies can only carry up to 40-50 pounds.  Horses can hold more.   (Kids under 17-under only) 


​We also have contacts with bounce house companies and horse themed cake makers that can deliver to our place. 


No deposit required for a party/event at our place.    Weather is not much of a factor.  Cancellations are mainly up to the Host/Hostess and can be rescheduled at NO ADDITIONAL COSTS.  Dangerous conditions during the event will cause us to stop and will NOT RESULT in a PARTY PAYMENT refund.  Don't worry though,  we will let you come back and try again if you didn't get at least half the time out there prior to stopping.

"Saddle Up & Ride!" Party Policies


  • No one over 200 lbs is permitted to ride.  Please leave the riding to the KIDS under 18.  
  • Easy access parking for truck and trailer is necessary for loading and unloading the horses.
  • Horses cannot be ridden in streets.  A safe area is asked to be available for horse to be able to ride the guests without incident. 
  • Helmets will be provided for each rider and will be properly secured.  Riders wearing open toe shoes will be asked NOT to come within 10 feet of the horse.  Please be sure all guests wear CLOSED TOE SHOES if they wish to ride or even just pet the horses.  
  • Host of party is asked to secure all dogs either by leash or fence  kept inside.  
  • Riders 5 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult other than a "Saddle Up & Ride" wrangler. Babies cannot ride, but are allowed to have a supervised photo opportunity.
  • Saddle Up & Ride is responsible for all waste materials left by the horses and will tend to them promptly.  
  • Horses cannot attend parties where alcoholic beverages are consumed.  
  • A waiver must be signed by the party host and all participating riding guests must sign their name (or have an adult sign for them) on the waiver.  Failure to include a guest on the waiver is a risk taken upon the host and NOT Saddle Up & Ride.   
  •  Please let the instructor know if you have reservations of photos/video being taken and displayed on any of Saddle Up & Ride's advertising or website.   
  • Party guests and host must NOT interfere with the safety of horse, wranglers and the riders.  If the wranglers feel that proper safety measures are NOT being adhered to; then,  the wranglers have the right to stop the horse rides and leave without refunds.
  • Saddle Up & Ride's insurance policy will be provided and displayed during the party/event. 


Hand-Led Horse Parties or Events 


NOTE:  Pics seen above are from various horse shows, not parties.  Helmets ARE required for parties & all guests will be guided by a handler and remain on a lead line.

Having a party/event at your place?  Having a school function/festival and want to add horses to the fun?  Want a horse to come to your summer camp?  We can come to you.  All our horses need is PLENTY of room to walk around in, an enclosed area like a fenced yard, and plenty of easy access parking for the truck & trailer.  Our horses are gentle as lambs and are well seasoned for all the chaos.  Having a horse means the limit of riders is expanded.  Ponies can only carry up to 40-50 pounds.  Horses can hold more. (Kids under 17-under only) 


Weather is a factor for travel and safety reasons. If cancellations are made for any reason, you will be allowed to try again.  If cancellation was made PRIOR to horses being loaded & traveling, another $50.00 travel deposit will NOT be required to try again.  If the cancellation is made while horses are on the road or at your venue, then an additional $50.00 travel deposit will be required, Unless you decide to have it at our place where NO DEPOSITS are ever required.
