Boarding Facility is called
CHURCHILL ARENA
it is a "do it yourself" facility (no half or full boarding here)
Cost is : $150 per month per stall.
Turnout is included but not exclusive. IOW, it is shared time in turnouts with other boarders. There is an uncovered arena and a round pen. There is also plenty of space to roam. Tackrooms provided (sometimes you may have to share a tackroom unless you have more than one horse). 3 Feed stores are local and 2 Tractor and Supply Stores are approx. a half hour drive away in two directions east and west of us. Hay is also sold by the barn owner or the hay can be delivered (see boarding buddies in facility for details). You will have to have an UP TO DATE COGGINS to board DAY ONE! No Exceptions. Jefferson Parish is pretty strict on that. You are also allowed to park your trailer for free on site.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GIVE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF YOUR PREVIOUS BARN LANDLORD & VETERINARIAN AS A REFERENCE.
We have a decently peaceful place and we will be very adament about keeping it that way. The other tenants all get along well enough and; those that don't, keep to themselves. We will NOT TOLERATE horses abused, poorly fed, stalls gross, pack rats, thieves, messiness, and people who bicker and fuss with everyone. We put this on the WEBSITE bc we mean it! We love the harmony out there and will protect it! Everyone works together for the most part.
It is a safe place for families to relax and for the kids to enjoy!
